An important remark: The movie Good Will Hunting, which won Robin Williams his Oscar, aligns with "Searching for Bobby Fischer" in stating the goal as finding one outlier genius who can go to the top. By contrast, the idea of Talent Education formulated by Shinchi Suzuki for his teaching of violin and other musical instruments, seeks to bring out talent and character in everyone. My son has been in the Buffalo Suzuki Strings since age 5, and my daughter also follows Suzuki materials in her private piano lessons.
The two aims are not exclusive, but the latter always has the benefit of educating the person as well as the player---and this is the main difference between the associations attached to the two people shaking hands. And why the words "and information" were added to this blog's title...

Well, after 19 years of "Na-nu Na-nu!" I am surprised the poor woman hasn't blown out her own brains.
She needs a medal and a t-shirt that says, "I survived the longest with Robin Williams".
