Ray Robson wins US Junior Championship


Ray Robson has won the 2009 U.S. Junior Championship by a full point! This is the most prestigious national championship for young players under the age of 21. His final score is 6 points in 7 games (5 wins, 2 draws) against players with an average rating of about 2450.

Reshevsky was a legitimate contender. The Soviet conspiracy hindered him.

Nakamura was off winning San Sebastian. I believe he is under 21 and eligable for this tournament.
