Uncovering an Ancient City's Secrets
Uncovering an Ancient City's Secrets
AOL News
Nov 2 -- From a distance, it looks like a mountain overrun by dense growth in the Guatemalan jungle. But researchers who have been exploring the remains of an ancient Mayan city say the massive mound may be the world's largest pyramid.
In a video posted on CNN's Web site Sunday, correspondent Brooke Baldwin reported on how scientists working at the site of the Mayan city of El Mirador are trying to preserve the pyramid, called La Danta. You can watch her report in the above video.

This is one of the greatest discoveries of all time.
Most great civilizations grew by the banks of a major river. The Mayan civilization is probably the only one that developed in the middle of a jungle. We have much to learn from this ancient wonder.
The Maya were the remains of a global society that lasted up until the great flood. Several examples of the art, architecture (pyramids), and science (artifacts) were scattered around the world: Egypt, China, England, India, the USA, and Africa. Mankind has a great history hidden by the current society and ruling class. Read about the legends of Mu and Vera Cochoa. Also, read the Rig Veda. It is a story of an ancient war that happened 30 thousand years ago. The war involved super humans waring against extraterrestrials. Early humans back then mistook them for gods.
I am facinated by the ancient astronaut theory that Erich von Daniken writes about in his books like CHARIOTS OF THE GODS ? It is that visitors from other worlds thousands of years ago, gave knowledge to the primitive earthlings and taught them to build pyramids and many other great structures . You can learn alot about it by watching IN SEARCH OF ANCIENT ASTRONAUTS on Utube . I find it very believable !!!
