A pretty mate is all I see here:

1. Qf7 Kh8
2. Qh7! Nh7
3. Nf7#

Great fun, but simple because of the lack of alternatives.
Due to the counter threat Qxg1#, we can easily exclude a discovered check by knight move.
We can also exclude Qh7.
Then remains nothing but:
1. Qf7+ Kh8
2. Qh7+ Nxh7
3. Nf7#

Well, I said easy because of the lack of alternatives.
Of course, many would probably have played Nf3+ here (normally good to attack queen with check, but here only delaying whites loss). Others would have tried to defend with Qg4, that doesn't help either. And some would try the false attack Qh8.
Didn't see any of those moves till after I had found Qf7 - Qh7- Nf7:-)

1. Qf7+ is right, but no need to pick up the pawn.

1. Qf7+, Kh8
2. Qh7+, Nxh7
3. Nf7 mate... the rook couldn't help with a check, but it can help wall in the king

Hi Susan Polgar,

Well, others had extensively gone in for the precise move for white - so nothing to add.[ No scope for, shorter than 3 moves win ]
