Chess boards returned to action following the holiday break at a Jan. 3 meet at Holley.

Albion shut out Pembroke, 40-0, led by Brett Zicari’s board one win.

Brockport notched a 40-0 win over Holley Middle with Calvin Moulton winning on the top board.

Pembroke beat Kendall, 31-9, with Kyle Cavetti taking board one. Kendall’s Jacob Richardson won on board two.

Brockport topped Holley, 26-14, led by Joey DeValk’s win on board three. Kevin Hishman led Holley with a win on board two.

Albion’s Brett Zicari won on board one to lead the Purple Eagles over Kendall, 40-0.

Holley’s Seth Deluca won on board one, but Pembroke won the game, 30-10, with Tyler Waren winning on board two.

Brockport shut out Kendall, 40-0, as Calvin Moulton won on board one.
