Schachmuseum

Two months ago, the chess museum open the doors. With more than 420 sqm may be the biggest public Chess Museum in the World. In 48 showcases are 900 chess sets and more than 13'000 figures, books, stamps, chess computers, arts and much more presented. Also included is a small Cinema to watch scenes from more then 1600 movies with chess sets.

Here you find a lot of pictures.

From January 25 till February 15, can visitors view the special exposition "Chess Stamps" with more then 1'300 stamps.

Specially at the beginning is it not possible to receive enough entry fees from visitors to pay all costs, so we need the help from chess enthusiasts and donors to ensure the survival of the museum.

As Donor of the museum you receive:

- Free entry in the Museum
- Quarterly museums newspaper with news and presentation of new chess sets
- Mention on the donor table in the museum and in the museum guide

Please help and support us with a donation so that we can bring the great game of chess closer to the people.
Any amount is welcome

Aside from the very poor quality of the English, it's astounding to read an article on a museum that doesn't even tell you where it is!
