The 2013 SP National Open for Boys and Girls in New Orleans has just started. About 150 players (rated sections) from all over the country, from New York, Florida, to California, as well as Canada, are competing for over $100,000 in chess scholarships (to Webster University), tablet computers, and other chess prizes... There was also an unrated event.
