Very interesting interview with Kramnik

Clara Cavour talked to Vladimir Kramnik about a number of topics, including connection between art and chess, talent, beauty, parallels between chess and life, sport and energy, and family. Kramnik also explains why he is not a typical competitive chess player, mentioning how Carlsen, Kasparov and Karpov wanted to win at all costs in whatever they were doing, even when playing cards.

He's a great champion.

I like him a lot but I don't think he'll be able to convince anyone his black strategy against Kasparov was about "art". He was great and all, but this is more like "you do what you gotta do" than "art".

Hes no match to Nakamura. Naka will be #1 by the end of this year.

he's a great man, before being a great champion. it's a pleasure to listen to him speaking about himself.

Very nice interview. He is a man full of class and insight. I like that he has a somewhat casual attitude about chess. By the way he speaks you understand that he has thought a lot about himself and the world around him. A champion indeed. Thank you for making the video.
